Grandma Great's Birthday Party

On Saturday the Brown clan headed to Ogden to celebrate Grandma Great's Birthday. She truly is an incredible woman and someday I hope I can be like her in so many ways! We went to the Sizzler, which was nothing to write home about) and ate some yummy birthday cake from Costco. All in all a great day! She had been wanting some vinyl lettering for one of her rooms and came up with the quote "The best journey always takes us home." I loved how it turned out, it looked great on the wall! I think I will make one for my house!
Ty and my Mom made a hut behind the train table and Ty was convinced that it was the perfect sleeping spot for both him and grandma. Keep in mind the hut was not even big enough for Ty to sleep in. Grandma is so great to appease him to at least pretend they were going to sleep there. With a little convincing Ty settled for Grandma sleeping in his bed instead.
The next day Ty had his primary program so my parents stayed the night to come to that on Sunday. He did great despite the cold he was having, he was not in much of a performing mood!

Halloween 2009

Halloween started off great with a visit from Grandpa and Grandma Brown. Always a great start to any day! Then we continued on to our tradition of going to the Lamb's ward Halloween Carnival and Trunk or Treat. Ty loves it. They have good food, fun games, and company! Ty was so indecisive this year about what to be. He kept switching back and forth from Batman and Darth Vader. The result: Batman on the inside combined with a Darth Vader mask and cape on the outside! It was great! Wendy had some really cute matching cat costumes that we put Macy and Millie in, they also looked very cute! Macy loved being in the costume, she cried and cried when it was time to take it off. I think she made the connection that the cute cat costume got her some great candy from anyone she came in contact with!
Notice the awesome pumpkins carved by John that he does every year. The one with all the holes drilled in it has always been a personal favorite, along with the unique costumes he comes up with every year!

Happy Birthday Macy!

I cannot believe she is one! On one hand it seems she has been a part of our family forever, while on the other I cannot believe a whole year has past! She is so sweet, yet fiesty as can be! She has quickly learned that all she needs to do it make a little fuss and she has three people at her becking call ready to assist her in any way! We love you so much miss Mace, Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday TY!

This little boy has been the greatest little adventure ever! He is so full of life, energy, and pazzaz! He is 110% boy and proud of it! Tender hearted, yet tough and unstoppable. He loves any sort of sport you throw at him, camping, 4-wheeling, x-box, superheroes, cars, balls, running, playing, and being with his cousins to name a few! There truly is never a dull moment when he is around. Ty, we love you all the way to Japan, past Jupiter, to the far American South, to the Sand Dunes and back, walking slowly with a car our backs!

Ty's party

Ty had his first official friend party yesterday. I use the term"friend" very loosely since it mainly consisted of all his cousins! He insisted on making his own invitations, planning his own activities and being fully in charge. It turned out to be a lot of fun for the kids even though they did hardly any of the planned activities. Instead they just ran around like a bunch of wild animals having a great time!

Birthday Party at Bush Camp

Ty looks forward to his birthday party at Bush Camp every year, and this year he was so excited to have Macy share his birthday party with him! Ty could not decide on which superhero he wanted as a cake this year so he came up with the idea of having multiple superheroes all on one cake! Just for the record it looked so much cuter in my head! Macy's small butterfly cake was a huge hit for her she ate so much of the cake, way more than a one year old should have! It was so much fun to have the whole family there to celebrate with these two sweet kids!

Random Pictures from the past month

Meet the newest BABY BULLDOG!

These pictures were at the Baby Bulldog open house. He was so excited to go and meet his new teachers and the kids in his class. He loved the little couches and wanted to make sure that Macy tested them out as well. I highly recommend this program, Ty loves all the creative, fun projects they do everyday.

Cute kiddos!

Kissing cousins

Macy loves to kiss her cute cousins!

Babies contained at the tailgate!

I tried for the first few tailgates to keep Macy from crawling all over the asphalt, but I quickly gave up on that! She comes home black from head to toe and completely enjoys herself, so why try to keep her clean! We would lay out a big piece of carpet for them to play on and they would instantly crawl off the carpet and sit right next to it on the asphalt. It was all in vain, they are washable, right?

Ty's first school presentation

I am so behind on this blog it is ridiculous! I will try to post just some of the good highlights! For school Ty was suppose to give a presentation all about his family. I went to watch and was very surprised and proud when he went up all by himself and told all about our little family! Way to go Ty!

I decided to dust off the sewing machine and try something new, which turned into a lot of somethings new. If anyone is in need of a gift for a baby, let me know! I am selling these for $8 each.

1st tailgate of 2009

What can I possibly say about this complicated first tailgate of 2009. Was it a great time or was it horrible event? This all depends on what time frame of the day you are referring to. If you are talking about Friday night at Bush Camp and all of Saturday up until approx. 5:16 PM then it was great, fantastic, above and beyond years of tailgates! We had awesome food, a huge turnout of family and friends, and endless football games to watch (thank heavens the satellite decided to work!) Now lets talk about Saturday after 5:16 PM, well lets just say that is when the fun officially ended! What happened to BYU, I could have played better defense then the defensive line that showed up to play on Saturday. Oh well, there is always next week. Those of you that are regulars and did not show up, you were greatly missed (Lance and Kristy!) You better come next week!

The crawlers!

Macy and Millie never stop, they love being mobile! Max loves to jump right in and be right with the babies!

Ty, this one's for you!

Ty went to the neighborhood carnival with the Patrick's last week and had so much fun. He got his face painted and fell asleep before he could look in the mirror. I figured it would all rub off before he woke up and he would be so disappointed if he never so it!

Joe's Valley pictures

As I said before, my camera died the first day of camping, luckily for me, Mom came through with lots of pictures!

Memories

Here is a flashback to our very first camping trip with the trailer 4 years ago which also happened to be in Joe's Valley. I could seriously spend a whole summer there and not get tired of it. There is so much to do, camping, fishing, 4-wheeling, boating, hiking, you name it, you can do it!

Joe's Valley

My camera died on the first day of camping so I have hardly any pictures, so Mom you need to email me some ASAP! My family generally goes to Joe's Valley over Labor Day weekend every year. We do not always go since football season is underway and there is often a BYU game that weekend. This year we decided to go at the last minute and I am so glad we did! It was such a fun, relaxing weekend. It rained on us a ton on Saturday, but I think it is fun to be out in the mountains in a huge rainstorm and watch the huge clouds roll in and dump a ton of water! There were so many people there that I have not hung out with in such a long time so it was great to just sit around camp and catch up! Ty and Macy did great and had a blast playing in the mud! Sean spent hours trying to get the satellite to work to watch the BYU game with no success. At least we got to listen to the game on the radio to be a part of BYU's huge win!

I love that these two love each other so much!

Day in Price

We do not make it to Price nearly often enough, so when we do go, it is always an action packed trip. We played outside for hours, went to the dinosaur park, made wooden swords, painted wooden swords, read lots of books, laughed, and most importantly the kids had very few fights!

They look so much alike!

I went to my parents house last week and Macy started playing on a toy that Ty used to love to play with while we were there. It brought back so many memories of when he was so young. I cannot get over how much these two look alike!

This is the reason I have to get up early to do the treadmill...

Elle

Cute Elle came to play the other day and fell asleep on the couch, she is such a cutie! She is one girl that I never tire of having around, she is always so happy and full of life and energy. We sure love her!

Thanksgiving Point Barnyard

Yesterday we attempted to go to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. I could not believe the line to get into that place, it was ridiculous it totally wrapped around the building! What was even more ridiculous was that people were willing to wait for over an hour to simply get into the overcrowded building! Amazing to see what people will do for the deal of $2 Tuesdays!
Since we were already there we decided to make the most of it and go see all the animals at the barn yard. The kids still had a great time and loved the pony ride! So I would classify the day as extremely successful, despite all the crowds!

First day of Preschool round 2!

Ty started preschool round 2 this week. Although he is loving it, he is so sad about not going back to Mrs. Peay's preschool this year. He loved her, but by the time I decided where we wanted him to go this year it was already full. I cannot believe that by this time next year he will be in kindergarten, he is getting way too big, way too fast!

Weekend at Sundance

Wendy's in-laws have a cabin in Sundance so we were lucky to be able to partake in the Gamette perks for the weekend! We went up Friday night after work and came home on Sunday, we had so much fun! It is great to be able to get away to have a carefree weekend with the kids. We hiked Stewart Falls, watched movies, ate great food, and Sean swam with the kids for hours. For the most part the kids did really good hiking to the waterfall, it was longer and harder than we thought it would be. Once they finally made it there they thought it was great!

Stacey is Married!

As of yesterday August 20, 2009 Stacey officially became Stacey Winchester! After months of planning and so much work everything turned out perfect! The reception was in my Grandparents backyard which looked beautiful, the weather was perfect, the food was delicious, and the couple looked great! Stacey made a stunning bride and she was so happy!
I always go way overboard and take so many pictures of everything, but I dropped the ball yesterday! I have hardly any pictures! So if anyone out there has lots of pictures from yesterday, please send them my way!

Thanksgiving Point

Yesterday we headed to Thanksgiving Point for $2 Tuesdays, I believe that everyone else in Utah County did too! We went to the Children's Gardens and had so much fun! The kids loved Noah's Ark, the bear cave, the maze, rolling down the many hills, the waterfalls and just simply being together! These kids would prefer to be together all the time, and have often commented on how we should all just live together! I love how they all love each other so much!

Mater sighting

This was indeed the highlight of the wedding, at least for Ty! We were heading to go set up for the reception and came across Mater (of course it was just a look alike, but he did not need to know that)! I took Ty back later to see him and he was once again mesmerized by him! It was almost two years that he first saw Lightning and Mater at Disney World, and to this day he still talks about how great it was to finally meet them!

Sarah's Wedding

I have no clue where Ty was this entire trip since there are so few pictures of him! Last week we headed to Twin Falls for Sarah's wedding. She was beautiful, and everything seemed to go perfectly! We loved to be with all the family that we do not get to see often enough!

The Bumbo Queen

She is officially a crawler!

Macy is officially crawling and getting into everything possible for her to reach! As you can tell from the pictures, Ty is having moments of not loving having a mobile sister in the house!

Switching it up....

Chris's Birthday Party

Last month Chris turned eight, these kids grow up way too fast! He invited all of the cousins to Classic Skating for a night of fun, and much fun was had! Ty and Darby were so cute out on the floor holding hands for the "romantic" skating. I sure do love all these cousins!

Karl Brown Family Reunion

This past weekend my family was in charge of the annual Karl Brown family reunion. We chose an awesome place up the canyon close to Morgan, Utah. We had so much fun! Thanks to everyone that came and we missed all of you that could not be there! The cabin had so many things to do, a huge plush green grass area, places to ride the kids 4-wheelers, volleyball, horseshoes, kickball, basketball, a cement irrigation pool, and great people to name a few! Ty and Emmy loved playing in the cement irrigation swimming pool. I had forgotten Ty's swimming suit so he decided to go in his tighty whities! Needless to say by the time he was finished they were no longer white! They were so dirty bleach would not even make them white again! It was so good to see so many cousins we had not seen for so long and to see some of the newly engaged couple together! I love the picture of Grandma Great, (who truly is GREAT) sun tanning her legs! Thanks Grandma and Jay, we love you!

Ty and Jase, a match made in heaven!

These two boys are so much fun together! Ty loves to play rough, wild and crazy all the time! As much as he loves playing with his girl cousins, it is just not the same as having another boy to let loose with! These two will do anything, try anything and love every minute of it! It is so nice to have someone for Ty to play with that I do not have to worry about his all boy personality being a problem, they play so great together!

Happy late 4th of July!

This years festivities started off with Macy having a case of double pink eye, so never mind the half drunk look she has on her cute little face in every picture! Our neighborhood always has the greatest 4th of July block party! It always starts on July 3rd with a huge BBQ, water cannons, food, and fun! This year Sean made his delicious homemade donuts and they were a huge hit! Then next morning started off at 6:00am with the hot air balloons, which Ty thought were very cool, but after the horrible mood the early morning wake up put him in, it will not be happening next year! Next the crepe breakfast and parade! We then went to the Patrick's for fireworks and coconut shrimp, way to go Darrin, it was delicious! Then to end the day we went to watch the stadium of fire fireworks at Westridge Elementary which ended in a huge meltdown with Ty! All and all we had fun, but it was not a relaxing day to say the least!

Birthday pedicures!

On Monday Sandi, Stacey, Mom and me celebrated my Mom's birthday with Pedicures, wedding shopping, and the park! We had so much fun! I love to spend time with my mom and sisters, (you too Dad, we just did not feel that you would be into the whole pedicure thing, no offense)! We went to the mall to the first fitting of Stacey's wedding dress, (she looked beautiful!!!!), then off to the park for lunch and a beautiful butterfly birthday cake that Sandi and Emmy made! Now for the main event, pedicures! Thanks to Marie for watching Ty and Emmy so we could enjoy the pedicures in total peace! What a great day!

Our little golfer

Ty loves to do anything associated with balls. We found this golf club "treasure" as he calls it, and he was immediately outside testing it out. He was good! He instinctively knew to keep his left arm straight, turn his hips and watch the ball! He is such a little athlete, we have yet to find a sport he does not want to play!

Emmy's new headband

Emmy was over playing the other day and wanted to pick out a headband. She looked so cute, and she loved it for all of about two minutes. Then it was tossed aside and wanted no more! I knew with her I had to get a picture instantly, or I never would!

I could not get these two pictures to show up in the last post so here they are now! These bows are all priced at $2.00 each!

I have been a huge slacker posting new items from The Sweetest Bling collection, so here are a few highlights of new items I have for sale.
I love the headbands with the flowers attached to them simply because I can wear them too! They are so cute on babies all the way up to adults! They are priced so inexpensively at $4.00 each!
The other stretchy flower headbands are great too, they are so comfortable and stay in place great! They are priced at $3.00 each.
I have always loved the 4th and 24th of July holidays and all of the excitement that goes along with them! Since our neighborhood is literally right in the middle of the 4th of July parade we always have a huge two day party full of activities, food, fun, and did I mention food! It is always a huge hit! I decided that Macy must be fully equipped with a patriotic bow for the festivities and figured that I could not stop there, other people needed them as well! So here you have them! Red, white, and blue bows all priced at $2.00 each (large individual bow or a set of small bows).

Is there a problem with this...

Playhouse fun!

Thank heavens for fun cousins and the playhouse! What would we do without them!

Sweets, The Second

Over two years ago when we lived in Salem, we had a cat named Sweets. When the time came to move we could not find her, she was nowhere to be found. Ty was so upset, that we had to tell him that Sweets ran away into the hills. Every time we would go near Salem he would beg us to go looking for Sweets. That was over two years ago that he was lost and still to this day he will talk about Sweets. So last week when he saw a lady giving away her kittens he was so excited, I could hardly say no. So now we are the proud owners of a cute little OUTSIDE kitten, Sweets (or Tiger as Sean calls him)! It took Ty awhile to get used to her, but he loves her now!
Last Sunday we could not find her. I was feeling so bad since she was supposed to stay inside until she got a little bigger but I was having none of that! Anyway we could not find her all day Sunday. Around 4:00 PM a neighbor brought her over claiming they had gotten very drunk the night before and somehow poor Sweets was trapped inside their house all night and all day. So sad, she came home terrified! I must not have felt all too bad about it because I still refuse to let her be in my house! I like Sweets, but I that does not mean I have to let her live in my house or touch her, right?

Fun with Madi and Jase!

We have totally loved living in Provo, but I never imagined how much I would miss living so close to Madi and Jase. They are amazing kids, oh how we miss them! They came and spent a couple of nights with us last week and we had so much fun! We went to Smith's to get some groceries and Ty and Jase loved the shopping carts that were just their size! They raced around the store collecting food and nearly running over every person that came their way!
At our yard sale last week we somehow came home with a cute little kitten that Ty named Sweets. No sooner had Madi arrived that we were in the car headed to Walmart to accessorize the cat. Madi insisted on a blinged out collar, a personalized name tag (which states the proud owners as Ty and Madi), a new bed, and supplies to make the cat toys! She is such an animal lover!
The next day was spent with Madi running around with Ty and Jase entertaining them for hours! I always have to give Shelley a fair warning that there is a very good chance that by letting her kids come over for an extended period of time may very well result in her never getting her kids back! Once we have them here, we never want to give them back! We love you!

My Dad, THE HERO!

My car has been making the most horribly embarrassing sound lately! My dad happened to be in town so I had him take a look. Sure enough the brakes both front and back were shot! So we headed down to the #1 mechanic in Price, my Dad, and being the hero and life saver that he is, he replaced the rotors and pads on my car in no time at all! What would we do without him! He is amazing! Take notice of the pictures, when he said the brakes were bad, he really meant it! Those pads with absolutely nothing left of them came off the back driver side tire. I should have taken a picture of the rotors as well. They are supposed to be perfectly flat and my back brakes had multiple Grand Canyon's running through them!
While I was out "helping" Dad, my wonderful Mom was inside with the kids having a great time! Thanks so much for all you do for us, we love you more than you could ever possibly imagine!

Sleeping on Dad

Our kids (and nieces and nephews) always love to fall asleep on Sean! He is obviously a comfortable person to fall asleep with!

Preschool graduation, round one!

Ty has officially graduated from his first year of preschool! His teacher Mrs. Peay was great! He learned so much, made so many cute friends, and had so much fun! We are so proud of you Ty and love you so much! Thanks to all the family that came to support Ty!

Tennis obsession

Ty is just like his dad! When he decides he likes something he wants to be doing it all the time. There is a great spot by our house that Ty and Sean love to go play tennis. Ty wants to go at least twice a day. He developed a huge blister on his hand from playing and he would still not ease up on playing! As you can see in the picture, he even loves to sleep with his tennis racket!

Her first popsicle!

Macy loves treats, I think it is safe to say she is my child!

A very tiring Saturday...

Last Saturday we had a neighborhood yard sale that was very productive and fun! Ty got up early with me to be to the yard sale by 7:00 and he spent the entire day with me running around playing with the neighborhood kids. Needless to say, when we got home he was tired. This is how we found him asleep on the kitchen floor minutes after we got home! What a great helper!

Sand Dunes!

Last week we ventured out to the beloved Little Sahara Sand Dunes. We had a lot of fun! It was the first camping trip of the year, and the first of Macy's life! She did great! Ty is getting so good on his little four wheeler, he even took it up in the big sand dunes this time! He is too big! Ty and Emmy were covered in sand from the second we got there to the second we left and loved every minute of it!

Gummy Bears vs. Action Figures

This little boy is getting way too big way too fast! I love to sit back and watch him play and be so creative! He picked out a bag of police action figures last time we were at all a dollar. The second we got home with them he was instantly upstairs putting them into groups of police (in straight lines of course) to get them all prepared to fight the dreaded Gummy Bears! Needless to say, the Gummy Bears were quickly taken down by the Action Figures! I did my part of helping Ty make sure the gummy bears were taken care of once and for all by eating them all gone one by one!

Our Little Princess!

We went to the park last Friday with Sandi and Keera and had a great afternoon! Sandi kept giving Macy so many different foods like graham crackers and pizza crust that she was loving and making a huge mess with! It grosses me out when babies are covered in slimy, slobbery food, I can not stand it! So as she was sucking on all of these foods I kept taking the away and cleaning her off just in time for Sandi to give her another food to get all gross again! I need to learn how to deal with a messy eater!

Day at the Park

We love to go to the park, especially the missionary park as Ty calls it! He thinks the statue in front of the park is a missionary and he loves to climb on it and point out all the letters on it, he is getting so smart!
Macy has been enjoying the swings so being the awesome helper that he is, Ty pushed Macy on the swings and made sure she was having a great time! I love summer time!

Ty and Macy

Ty and Macy are so cute together! The other night Ty insisted that Macy was wanting to have a sleep over in his room. He woke up the next morning and he was so concerned when he did not find Macy sleeping by him. She had woken up in the night and somehow made it back to her crib!
Lately while I have been exercising Ty has been "babysitting" Macy. He thinks it is so much fun to cuddle next to her on the couch and play xbox or watch a show! He is such a great big brother!

I love this warm weather!

It is so great to be outside all day! Having a little boy has made me realize all of the many adventurous things there are to do literally right outside my door! I was helping Jackie with a vinyl project so Brock, Hailey, and Emmy were over playing outside, we had a lot of fun! The boys started a water fight which Emmy loved up until the point that someone threw water on her! Apparently she only likes water fights where she is the one (and the only one) throwing the water!

Playhouse fun!

I love to have the nieces and nephews over, they always have so much fun, mingled with a bit of fighting! The kids love the playhouse Sean built and want to spend every second in it! It is so nice to have the sod and no more dirt!

Macy and Grandma Brown

Grandma and Grandpa Brown came and stayed with us last weekend and we had so much fun! I loved these pictures of Macy snuggling grandma! I think my kids have got to be the luckiest kids in the whole world to have two sets of incredible grandparents that love them so much!

Nigh out with Allison

I do not get to spend nearly as much time as I would like to with Allison! Who is lucky enough to have their best friend as long as you can remember also be your cousin! We went rollerblading on the Provo River Parkway and had a ton of fun! Thanks for helping me remember how much I love to rollerblade! This will surely turn into a weekly tradition for us!

Season one of soccer has come to an end

Ty's first experience with soccer has come to an end! It started off horrible to say the least but by the end of the season he was loving it and playing so good. He was so cute as he would run around the field with a huge smile on his face giggling the whole game! I love this stage of life as he begins to play sports and look forward to watching him play countless games of all kinds in the future!

Is Summer here yet?

On Tuesday we finally put some sod down around the playhouse Sean built last summer, what is better than instant grass! The kids love playing in the playhouse, or clubhouse as Ty calls it, but they would always get so dirty in it! Now hopefully that there is grass, the nieces and nephews will not require a bath everytime they come over to play! I was out watering the sod the next morning and Ty was so excited to run through the sprinklers for the first time of the summer! I cannot wait for it to actually be warm enough to play in the water all day! Yeah for warm weather!

No training wheels!

Ty is officially riding his bike without his training wheels! He saw Darby doing it on Sunday so of course he was determined at that point to do it himself! Monday morning we woke up, headed over to the church parking lot to give it a try and it did not go so well. I figured he was just not ready for it. He wanted to try again that same afternoon and within minutes he was saying "let go mom, I can do it!" So I let go and sure enough, off he went all on his own! Way to go Ty, we are so proud of you!

Macy at 6 months!

I cannot believe Macy is 6 months old! Where has the time gone! She is such a fun baby with such a distinct personality! She is starting to sit up, wants to grab everything and put it in her mouth, wants to eat what we are eating, loves her tongue, jabbers nonstop, and most of all she loves Ty! She absolutely loves him! Every time he walks into the room she is full of smiles and giggles for him, he is such a great big brother!

Soccer day two considered a success!

The second game this week was great compared to the week before! He actually went out onto the field and played, granted Sean was right by his side, but about 10 minutes into the game Sean was finally allowed to go take a seat on the sidelines! He did great, and had a lot of fun!

The Sweetest Bling

So I have become completely obsessed with making flower hair bows for Macy, so I have decided to start selling them! I have also loved making jewelry for years so there will be some fun mommy and me jewelry as well as binky clips, snag resistant nylon and crochet headbands, crochet hats, baby gifts sets, bow holders, and much more! Check out my blog at The Sweetest Bling! I am going to start doing some boutiques as well, the first one will be April 17th and 18th at a home in Traverse Mountain. I will post more details as I get them!

A not so successful first day of soccer

Ty was so excited to go to soccer on Saturday, that was until he walked over the hill and saw the huge crowd of people waiting below! He had gotten to be so shy! He had fun warming up kicking the ball with Sean, but the second Sean walked off the field and the coach was the only one there, Ty wanted nothing to do with it! He looked so cute in his cleats, soccer shorts, socks, and his oversized jersey I was so sad he did not want to play! Oh well, maybe next time!

Happy Macy!

She is so happy whenever she wakes up from her naps, I have to just hold her and take it all in while I can! I bought these cute tights so long ago so I was so excited when I discovered today that they actually fit her! I love how with babies you buy them so much stuff when you are pregnant thinking the time is so far away that they will actually get to wear anything, and then before you know it, it fits and then they instantly out grow it! I figured I better get pictures while I can since at the rate she is growing, they may not fit her next week!

Disney on Ice

On Saturday all eight of us piled into the Patrick's van and headed up to Disney on Ice! Ty and Darby had a great time and seemed to love every minute of it! Max on the other hand seemed to love the popcorn and drink and could not seem to care less about the show! It was a lot of fun!

Cute kids

Ty loves to lay on the bed with Macy and of course, I love to take their picture! Ty was not too into taking the pictures on this particular day as you can tell by his face in the majority of the pictures! I sure do love these two!

Motorcycle season!

I was so excited that it was finally starting to get warm enough outside to get the motorcycle out. Ever since Sean bought the motorcycle we would ride it over to the Lamb's for our Sunday dinner, obviously only when it was nice and warm outside! We all loved it! So in my mind I was thinking that it was almost time to start this tradition up again, then the reality that those days are a thing of the past hit me like a ton of bricks! Unfortunately I do not think it would be a great idea to have the four of us all on one motorcycle! It looks like I am going to have to learn to ride the other motorcycle sitting in the garage myself to be transporting the whole family via motorcycle! My first couple of times trying to drive that thing did not go so well, good thing I have a few years before Macy will be old enough to be taken for a ride!

Sweet Ty!

Last night as I was putting Ty to bed he said the sweetest thing, I had to write it down so I would not forget! I said "Goodnight Ty, I love you," then he said, "Mom, I love you more than any other little boy loves his mom!" I love this stage of life! They are so full of life, love, and energy! I love you my sweet Ty Ty!

Brother and Sister

I just love to watch these two together! We had wanted Ty to have a sibling for so long and now that he finally has one it is so much better then I could have imagined! I hope they will be close and can be the best of friends forever!

A Superhero fan in training

Ty was so excited to have a sister who he could play with at anytime. She is just barely starting to hold onto things so of course the first thing she is handed is a Spiderman toy from Ty! He loves to play superheroes all the time and now that he feels like Macy is playing with him, he could not be happier!

Mystery desk

The other day I went into Ty's room and he had set up multiple chairs each with their own make shift desk in front of it and called it his mystery desks. He had set them up in anticipation of his cute cousins coming over to play. For those of you who do not know, apparently a mystery desk has many special powers to help you be a detective, a doctor, a car fixer, or anything else you could possibly imagine while sitting at the mystery desk. Ty has the greatest imagination, I love waiting to see what he will come up with next!

Gymnastics!

I have been trying to keep Ty busy the past few months so that the two of us do not go crazy trapped in the house for the winter so I decided to give gymnastics a try! He loved it for the first few weeks and then he just seemed to get bored! He did learn how to do back bends really well as you can see, he was incredible on the balance beam, and loved the uneven bars! It was alot of fun to watch him, but it was time to move on to something else. So why I signed him up for the second session of gymnastics I will never know! I do not think we will make it through!

Macy's first time swimming

We went out to the Lehi swimming pool last Friday for a day of swimming. At first Macy did not exactly know what to think of the whole idea so she cried quite a bit but eventually she figured out it was alright! Of course Ty was extremely disappointed that the big slide was closed but he managed to have a great time regardless. The fun ended as soon as it was time to get the kids showered and dressed, it was complete chaos! Macy was so tired and hungry that she was screaming as loud as I have ever heard her cry for about 15 minutes while I tried to get both the kids dressed and into the car. The way I look at it is that it was really good practice for a summer of Seven Peaks, I have a lot to learn and practice before I am ready to conquer the world of seven peaks two times a week with two kids!

Cousins!

Ty and Emmy

Ty, Kayla, Macy, Millie and Elle Superbowl Sunday after the game

Macy and Millie
I have said this many times in the past but we are seriously so lucky to have so much family so close to us to share our lives with! There is never a shortage of cousins to get wild and crazy with which is exactly what they do! Ty is now 4 years old and we have never yet had to have a babysitter that was not family! It is great, we love them all so much!

The Ty man

Ty has been such an awesome big brother. He is such a huge help and has never for one second seemed jealous of Macy, he is way to busy just loving her. He loves cars, guns, balls, wrestling, fighting and every other boy thing you could imagine. We watched Mulan the other day and next thing I know he comes out riding his horse with the sword attached to it and was pretending to be one of the good soldiers going to save the day. I just love the imagination and creativity of this little boy!

Growing like a weed!

Macy is getting way too big WAY TOO FAST! It is so sad! She is such a great baby and I feel so lucky to have her!

Thank heavens for youtube!

Everytime we watch a movie Ty will always find at least one part in the movie where there is a song he loves! He watched Mama Mia and instantly fell in love with all of the songs, next was Rocky 1, 2, 3, 4.... he just loves music! So Sean always seems to find clips from the movies on youtube and has them ready for Ty to watch so we don't have to rewind the movie a million times! I have to pretend that my computer at home doesn't play the songs or else he would want to sit and listen to them all day long. The second Sean walks in the door Ty is asking for the laptop to start watching his music!

"I see.....

When the picture of Ty was taken almost exactly 4 years ago Sean printed it out put it in his Ty picture book and wrote "I see blue!" So here we are 4 years later with Macy saying "I see pink!" It is great to have their birthdays so close together to go back and see what Ty looked like, and what he was doing at this same stage of life! It is almost eerie to see how they resemble each other so much and seem to have so many of the same characteristics! I love these two kids so much, I often look back and think, what did I ever do with myself before they came around!

Bath time!

Ty loves to get in the bath and help with Macy. She was crying so hard in the bath the other day and Ty said, "don't worry mom, I'll take care of it!" Next thing I know Macy is sucking on Ty's finger and she instantly stopped crying! They are so cute together! I love how she is starting to recognize him and smiles the second he walks in the door!

Cute pictures of Macy!

Here are a few recent pictures of Macy. She is getting so big and has the cutest big solid cheeks! Notice in the last picture her cute pierced ears, I know she is only two months but I could not resist! I love them!

Gymnastics

Ty started gymnastics in January and he has loved it! The first day of gymnastics they asked that all parents refrain from taking any pictures because there would be a chance for pictures on the last day of class. How can they ask any parent to refrain from taking a picture the first time their child walks across a balance beam. Needless to say, I could not resist!

Daddy's little helper!

Luckily we have not had many rental projects lately! But yesterday when Sean had to fix a leak I bet you can guess who was instantly at his side with his toolbox in hand ready to help!

At home removal of the cast, NOT RECOMMENDED!

Over two hours after he began what he thought was a very simple task, the cast was finally removed! I heard him limp downstairs and I new that within a matter of minutes he would be attempting to take off his cast with a dremmel. After he had either dulled or broke every last dremmel attachment that could possibly work, he moved on to the high tech tools pictured above. I guess he figured there was very little difference in wearing the cast for one week compared to three to four weeks the doctor had told him. As you can tell from the pictures he used very appropriate sterile tools, hopefully no infection will set in! The picture does not do the incision justice, it looks so sore! I do not think he would admit it, but I think he regrets taking it off!

Poor Sean!

This year for New Years Eve I spent the night giving Sean a little TLC after his surgery. He had a bone spur and he needed his plantar facia lengthened. It had been hurting him forever so he finally decided to do something about it! He was supposed to wear his cast for 3-4 weeks but as I am sitting here blogging he is in the kitchen with his dremmel working on removing the cast himself! He says it is bothering him, but anyone that really knows him would know that the real reason for taking it off is that he is dying to see the wound!

Can you tell what I have been doing lately?

I started off thinking that every baby girl needs a few bows so I started making some. Next thing I know I cannot stop, I am obsessed! I kept making the ribbon longer on her bow holder to make room for all of the new bows, now I have to just put all the new additions in a drawers! I love it!

Cousins

Brady just loves Macy! He is so cute with her! I said this before, but I cannot wait until she is a little older and she will finally respond to Brady's love and attention to her!
The other picture is of Millie and Macy who were born only 5 days apart. She is so lucky, she had cousins everywhere! Wendy and her kids came to play and Millie and Macy happened to be wearing the same outfit so of course we had to take a picture! Wendy is magical when it comes to getting the kids to smile for pictures. I could not believe she was able to get both of these two month old girls to smile at the same time, it was so cute!

An exciting trip to Walmart!

It amazes me that every year when we are in Price for Christmas I always need to go to Walmart to finish up something for Christmas! This year on one of our many outings to Price all of the girls went and left the husbands and kids at home! Just as we were about to leave we spotted huge boxes filled with these cute shirts we are wearing. We each got a thermal undershirt and the cute T-shirts on top for a total of $7! How could we pass up the chance to all get such cute shirts and get a picture together! We were at Walmart for so long, girls need a night out every once in a while even if all you get is a long trip to Walmart with your sisters and mom!

Christmas 2008

We had a great Christmas this year. As always on Christmas Eve Eve we made our way to Price to spent time with my family. We helped my Mom make a lot yummy food (actually she made a lot of great food and we helped her eat all of it!), we played outside sledding and riding the 4-wheelers, went to Wal-mart countless times and just enjoyed each others company! The first day we were there Ty wanted to be pulled on a sled behind the 4-wheeler. He was having so much fun and refused to come inside. By the time we finally convinced him to come in we discovered that he was starting to get frostbite on both of his wrists, we felt so bad! Late on Christmas Eve night we came home to have some traditions of our own. Ty fell asleep on the way home from Price so Sean and I left cookies and diet coke out for Santa for Ty. Christmas morning we woke up, opened presents and has a yummy breakfast of omelets, bacon and oranges. Then around 5 we headed over to Sean's families house for a action packed night of the traditional bingo game, where there is never a dull moment! We had a great Christmas and hope everyone else did too!

The Roof

On December 16, 1998 Sean and I had our first date at the Roof in Salt Lake. We had a great dinner and then walked around Temple Square looking and the lights. It must have been a great date since here we are ten years later as happy as can be! We have made it a tradition that every Decemeber 16 for the past ten years we go to the Roof with Chris and Tysen and recreate the date! I cannot believe it has been ten years! I love you Sean!

Loving the snow

Ty has had so much fun this winter playing in the snow. One of his favorite things to do is let the snow pile up on the slide of his playhouse and then race upstairs and slide down. I love to watch him playing with his endless amounts of energy! I wish that I could have an ounce of his energy, I could accomplish so much!

GRANDMA GREAT AND MACY

This is my cute Grandma Brown. She is incredible, she has so many wonderful talents and attributes. Macy was blessed with the opportunity to share a birthday with her! My Grandma was born on her grandma's birthday and now Macy is born on her great grandma's birthday, it is so fun!
Sean and I had been going back and forth as to whether or not to give her a middle name. We just kept thinking about how a name can really affect the person you will become. So with Macy being born on her Great Grandma's birthday we decided to give her the middle name of Aileen. We had talked about it right before church and we were still a little undecided so I told Sean to surprise me! As he was up there blessing Macy he paused right before he gave her a name. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was going to happen. Next thing I know I hear Macy Aileen Lamb, I was so excited, it just sounded perfect!
My Grandma has always meant so much to me! If Macy can end up with even a few of my Grandma's traits she will be perfect!

The maker of the dress!

This is Shelley who is Sean's sister. She has started a tradition of making all of her nieces blessing dresses. This dress is so incredible. When she brought it over I had to hold back my tears, it is gorgeous! She spent hours and hours making this dress for Macy and she only gets to wear it once, I am now praying for more girls so it can be used again! Thank you so much Shelley I absolutely love it!

Macy's Blessing

We blessed Macy yesterday and had such a great day. As I was looking around my living room full of family after the blessing I realized how truly blessed we are to have so much family so close to us that are so supportive of everything we do. They never miss anything in our lives and are always there for us! Thank you so much, we love you all!
Sean did such a great job blessing Macy, he gave her an awesome blessing! I am so thankful to have the priesthood in our home, it is such a huge blessing to us in our lives!

Fun pictures

Ty has been completely obsessed with super heroes lately. He loves to get them all out and fight them. I have noticed he always gets to be the hero who saves the day and I always have to be the bad guy like Venom or The Joker, I hope this is not his way of saying that I am a bad guy myself!
The other day I went to get in the shower and Ty wanted Macy to stay out with him to watch a show. Next thing I know I come out and find macy handcuffed to a speaker cord with Spiderman laying by her side. Ty said, "don't worry mom, she's fine, she isn't going anywhere!" She seemed perfectly content so I figured there was no harm done!
Ty loves to have his sister here and wanted her to take a bath with him, so we did. She loved it! She loved being in the deep water and being so warm with Ty, needless to say Ty now wants her in the bath with him everyday!

Like sister like brother

One of the things I have loved about having 2 kids is seeing all of the similarities between the two. I love to watch Macy do things which then brings back so many memories of Ty as a baby. When Ty was a baby he refused the whole swaddling idea, he hated his arms constricted at all and he mostly slept with at least one arm sticking straight up in the air. So yesterday when I found Macy sleeping like this I loved it! Only three weeks old and already so much like her brother!

Ty and Macy

I can not believe Macy is almost three weeks old! We have all been having so much fun with her. Ty is so soft and cute with her. Anytime she cries he runs right over to her and says it's ok big brother is here! It is so cute! At her 2 week appointment she had gained nearly a pound and grew 2 inches! She is eating and sleeping great, we are so lucky!

Baby Cousins

Macy is very lucky! She is going to have 4 cousins her same age! Sandi's little boy Brady was born in July, Wendy's little girl Millie was born 5 days before Macy, Marie is pregnant and her baby is due in May, and Kim is pregnant and her baby is due in June! Babies everywhere, it is going to be so much fun!

Happy Halloween

This year for Halloween Ty wanted to be Spiderman, and I must say I got my moneys worth with this costume. I ordered it online about a month ago and he has put it on at least one time a day every since it got here. He loves it! Sean dressed up as Danny Zuko and looked very cute and Macy wore a little cat shirt. Sean's parents ward was having a Halloween carnival and a trunk or treat so we took him over there. He won the billy bob teeth in the fish pond and thought they were the greatest thing ever! He got a lot of candy and had a great night!

Macy has arrived!

Macy is finally here! She was born on October 27, 2008 she was 6 pounds 10 ounces and 18 inches long. She was alot bigger then we thought she was going to be but it is still amazing to me how small they really are! I started having contractions Sunday night and we went to the hospital about 9:00 am Monday morning. I was not making much progress so they were going to send me home but first they sent me to have my amnionic fluid levels checked and they were low so they decided to just start me. They gave me the oxytocin about 12:00 and by 4:03 pm she was here. It was an easy labor and everything went great. Ty is absolutely loving her, he is very gentle and loving with her. My mom came to stay with us from Wednesday to Friday she was such a huge help it was so sad to see her go. Thanks mom! The first picture is Ty's baby picture, Sean seems to think that they look exactly alike I added that to let you be the judge of that! I have so many pictures to post so this will have to do for now I will post a lot more pictures of her later!

Happy Birthday Ty!

I cannot believe Ty is already four! He is such a fun little boy to have at our house. He is so full of energy and life, all boy that never stops for a single second. We love him so much and are so proud of him! There was a football game the day of his birthday so he was so excited that he was able to have his birthday party at bush camp in the trailer. We had both of our families over to the trailer for Spiderman cake and ice cream. Then some of his cousins slept over at the trailer with us and we let them stay up way to late eating candy and watching movies, but it was a celebration so that makes it all ok! Happy Birthday Ty we love you so much!

No baby yet!

Today me and Ty put together this bouncer my parents brought up on their last visit. Ty thought it was very unfair because Macy already had one in her room so he decided that this one was for him. So after we put it together he jumped right in it said he needed a blanket and just sat there unwilling to get out! So we may not have a baby yet but at least Ty is making good use of her new toys!
I have been having to have non stress tests every week for about the last month because she is measuring really small so when I went on Monday and they said my amnionic fluid was only an 8 (which most of the time if it drops below 7 a lot of doctors will induce) I really got my hopes up that at my appointment later that day they would say it is time to induce you! I was wrong! My doctor is out of town so I saw his daughter who is also in his office. She said I was not ready and I would just have to wait until next week and see my regular doctor when he gets back on the 30th. My due date is the 28th so as you can imagine I am not very happy about the situation! I am trying to be patient but the thought of going past my due date is killing me! Any ideas of some great ways to make me go into labor on my own? I am very open to any suggestions!

Painting pumpkins

Last night for family night we painted, or I should say Sean and Ty painted pumpkins! Ty thought it was the greatest thing ever. It is so much fun to see how he is getting so grown up and starting to figure out the fun activities that go along with each holiday. I can not believe he is going to be four in four days! Where has all the time gone!

BYU vs. New Mexico Homecoming

We had another great experience tailgating for the New Mexico game. We had yummy roast with homemade rolls and lots of good treats, salsas, pizza, you name it! Before the homecoming game they always have a parade that goes right past where we camp so we woke up and got all bundled up and went out to watch the parade! Even though it was the very end of the parade route we still managed to collect a lot of candy! The weather was so cold but we still had a lot of fun! Madi and Kayla slept over with us so Ty was entertained the entire time!

Leather Jacket Boys

The other day Sean had mentioned that since him and Ty were motorcycle riding buddies that it was only logical that Ty needed to have a leather riding jacket to match his. After this brief conversation I didn't think any more about it until the next day Sean comes home with the cutest little jacket for Ty. He looked so cute in it so they instantly got their helmets and jackets on and set off on a ride sporting their new jackets! He is such a great dad! He loves to play with Ty and be a kid himself, we are very lucky to have him!

BYU vs. Wyoming

We all figured the game today would be a complete blowout and sure enough it was! Unlike the UCLA game which was a lot of fun and exciting, this game was rather boring as far as BYU games go! The cousins all once again looked so cute and had so much fun together! This game we had the addition of Lance and Kristy's kids so the clan of kids was larger and more out of control than usual! Sean loves to be able to bring a satellite and watch all the pregame talk the night before the game! It was really cloudy today so he had to spend alot of time in the truck adjusting the satellite to get all the games that they had to see today! Me and Wendy are due just two days apart and have yet to take a picture together, so I had to post this one we took today! As always she looks so cute and you would be hard pressed to find a less attractive picture of me, oh well I just wanted it for memories anyway! The tailgates have gotten so big we love to be able to turn this into a all night and all day adventure and it makes it so fun to have so many people come out and join us! Thanks to everyone who once again helped out so much with everything!

BYU vs. UCLA

These pictures are from the second tailgate party. We have been having so much fun this year tailgating. I cannot believe we are already half way through the home games, it is quite sad! The first picture is of Ty and Kayla. They both decided to sleep on the kitchen table bed which I thought would be just fine. Come to find out it was much too small for the two of them. Kayla fell off the bed first so I put some pillows down on the floor just in case she did it again. Next thing I know I wake up to find that the two of them had fallen off the bed and were both sound asleep on the pillows on the floor! Ty loves to go bush camping especially since he always has his cousins with them. They have so much fun together and always look so cute in their BYU outfits! By the way the score makes it seems as if this game would have been very boring, but it was actually one of the most exciting games I have been to in a long time!

Little Sahara

Last weekend we went to Little Sahara Sand Dunes. This is only the second time we have gone and both times were so much fun! Ty was on his 4-wheeler every chance he got, driving around as fast as he could all over the dunes, I was very impressed! He has gotten so good on it and he had so much fun. The first day we were there my dad kept talking about a surprise he had for us, and next thing we know he comes strutting out of his trailer with his motorcycle racing outfit on. He looked so cute, but at the same time we could not stop laughing. He has had this outfit for well over 20 years so the fact that he still fit into it and looked oh so cute is amazing! Sean just kept saying, "I am so jealous, I want one"! The boys (big boys) as always were having so much fun on the little machines. At first I thought we bought them for the little kids but I quickly found out that they were almost entirely for the big boys and the kids could use them if they happened to be available!

Ty's first day of preschool!

Ty has been looking forward to the first day of school for weeks now. He would wake up almost everyday and say, "is it school day yet?" About a week ago he decided that he wanted to go to the first day of school on the motorcycle with his dad, not mom. Needless to say this crushed me because it is supposed to be me he wants to take him to school! So today as he was leaving I decided to go on the motorcycle with them because I was not about to miss his grand entrance into school! He loves to learn and be around kids so I am sure he is going to love every minute of it!

Tailgating season has arrived!

Once again it is the Lamb family favorite time of year, tailgating season! We love BYU football at our house so we have been counting down the days until it started! We headed off to bush camp (Ty calls it this because he says he goes to the bathroom in the bushes and footballs always get stuck in the bushes) Friday night with the trailer to start the party! Sandi and Barry and the kids brought their trailer over too that night to keep us company! The next day we started lunch, which was Cafe Rio style burritos, which were so good! We had a huge turn out of the regulars and even some new additions like some of Stacey's friends! The guys set up the TV and satellite Friday night and watched ESPN to build their excitement for the big game and we even allowed the Utah game to be shown at our tailgate on Saturday! Thanks to everyone to helped out, I really appreciate it! This is once again an open invitation to anyone that would like to come! The more the merrier!

Dad in charge of bath time!

This picture is a great example of why Ty always has so much fun with his dad! If you leave dad in charge of bath time you get water clear to the top of the tub with bubbles literally pouring over the top. If mom is left in charge of bath time not nearly the amount of bubbles and water, boring! Too bad dad only gets put in charge of bath time occasionally!

Ty and Dad doing "Boy things"

Yesterday Ty wanted to go ride his 4-wheeler, so him and Sean set out to find the perfect riding spot. In the neighborhood we live in there are not too many places to go that seem legal, but Sean seemed to find one that works! They went to this parking lot and spent so much time there doing lap after lap after lap. Ty is getting really good at driving by himself, he goes way to fast for my liking, but Sean keeps assuring me that he is fine. I guess at some point I have to let him grown up a little and also allow him to do crazy boy things with his dad! I had to go to a baby shower today and when I came home I found the two of them in the same parking lot only this time Sean was on his motorcycle doing laps with Ty, it was so cute. It is so much fun to see how Ty is starting to love everything his dad does and wants to spend every second he can with him! The last picture is Ty pouting doing his mad face because Sean and I simply wanted to eat before going over to the parking lot to ride for the 10th time of the day! He is such a strong willed and determined little boy!

Baby Brady

This post is very late since I did not have any good pictures of him, but this is Sandi's little boy Brady! He was born on July 7, 2008 and Emmy is convinced he is the greatest thing around! He really is super cute and a great baby! Sandi was having a really rough time for awhile from the c-section but is doing a lot better now thankfully! I must admit having him around makes me so anxious to get our little one here newborns are alot of work, but so much fun! I could hold him all day!

American Fork Canyon

We went camping last weekend with my family up American Fork Canyon and had so much fun! The place we camped was awesome, it was right by the river which made me a little nervous at first but the kids did great! The second day Ty fell into the little pond that had been damed off from the river and thought it was pretty fun even though it was freezing cold! The first day it rained alot, so we spent a lot of time in the trailer but we still managed to have a great time. The water in the river and little pond was so cold, the adults could hardly stand to put their feet in let alone their whole bodies, but the kids loved it and spent a lot of time cooling off in the pond. We also found a lot of great riding trails and the kids had a great time on their 4-wheelers. As we were loading up the 4-wheelers to come home Ty jumped on his and loaded it into the trailer all by himself, he was so proud of himself!

Last day at the lake

My parents have always had a boat since the time I was five and today they sold their boat! I have so many priceless memories of days on the lake with my family! As they family has gotten older and bigger it has been really hard to get us all together to go spend time together on the lake so the boat was just not getting used. So unfortunately today was the last day on the lake with Grandpa and Grandma for us! We had a lot of fun today we went to Huntington and basically watched Ty go on the tube! I attempted to go on the tube and it was much harder to stay off my belly than I thought, so my ride lasted all of about 15 seconds! Ty took a turn with Grandpa and Grandma and then decided he needed to go by himself. He was basically weightless on the tube so he ended up falling off and was so brave to just float there in the water and wait for someone to come get him. I was very happy to finally know for sure that the life jacket really will hold him up! He was so cute when we got him in the boat, he said, "mom it is really hard to talk under the water, I was trying to say mom help me, but I could not do it under the water." I was glad to see that he got back on the tube and did it again! He is such a trooper! Thanks for a great few days mom and dad! We love you!

Adventure to the Helper Parkway

Ty and I decided to go to Price for a couple of days to visit Grandma and Grandpa. I had not been to the Helper Parkway for a long time and I figured Ty would love it, which he did! We walked along the trail, walked over the swinging bridge with the water running underneath, walked through a long tunnel and up a huge flight of stairs. Needless to say their was no need for a workout that morning. Ty has an amazing amount of energy, he never stops! He ran everywhere we went, and beat us everywhere we went. He loves to take pictures of people and wanted a picture of what he refers to as my big belly where Macy lives, isn't that a lovely picture! We had a lot of fun and all went home and took a nap to recover from our workout!

Flaming Gorge Reunion

Over the 24th we headed up to Flaming Gorge for Sean's family reunion, we had so much fun! Sean, Ty and I went up a night before his family and stayed at Steinacker Lake, this was the first time the three of us have gone camping since I can remember (except of course for our nights together in the trailer tailgating)! Ty and Sean went fishing the next morning and caught some fish which Ty thought was pretty cool. The next day his family got up there and we spent the majority of the day just having fun in the mountains. The next day we went on the Dam tour which Ty loved! Then we all went river rafting which was also great fun! The day was pretty overcast and it rained on us for awhile which was a great break from the super hot days we were used to. Ty loved the rapids (or rabbits as he called them) and kept asking when we were going to go over more! Sean caught another fish literally at the very end of the river which all the kids thought was great! We played at Flaming Gorge on a great beach and Ty, Sean, Darby and Kayla did some cliff jumping. I was surprised at how much Ty loved to cliff jump especially into the water which was not warm! The kids all had a great time together as they always do and kept each other very entertained! It is amazing the creative things kids can come up with to do, oh to be a kid again!

Camping with Grandpa and Grandma

Every summer my parents take Ty and Emmy on a camping trip that Ty calls a "kid party," which according to him means no parents allowed! They generally go to Joe's Valley but this year they went up Spanish Fork Canyon. They had a great time! My parents are so cute with the kids, and the kids just adore them! But then again who would not adore someone that did anything you asked at anytime and never said no to you! They went for many walks, looked at the river, watched the trains and had a fantastic marshmallow dinner! Thanks for taking Ty, he had a great time!

Happy 4th of July!

Our neighborhood really gets into the 4th of July! We started the holiday off on Thursday night having a huge neighborhood get together with great food, games, dancing, fireworks the whole thing! We then woke up early (early for us I should say) and went to a crepe breakfast and then to the parade. Sandi and Emmy came over to join in the festivities so we had a lot of fun! Ty loved the parade, especially the fire engines, the BYU train float, and of course the huge flying animal balloons! After that Ty was so worn out he took a nap and then we headed off to the little festival they have at the county buildings. Madi and Darby slept over and we did some fireworks and at that point we called it a day! Who knew the 4th of July could be such a action packed day!

The baby's room!

I found some bedding on ebay that I loved, here is a picture of it. It is pretty boring to have a girl and automatically want to paint the room pink, but that is exactly what I did! You can't really get a feel for what the paint looks like since there is so much stuff in the room, but I thought I would post it anyways! It seems really bright but I am hoping once the baby furniture goes in I will like it better. Only time will tell!

A day full of painting!

I have been wanting to paint Ty's room for so long, and I finally got around to it today! He really wanted a blue room, which I was very skeptical about, but it turned out so cute! The pictures do not do it justice! Now I just have to decide what to put on the walls! Here are some before and after pictures!

Nap time!

Ty has been wanting to go camping so bad, and we have just been too busy! I can not believe it is July and we have not even taken the trailer out! Oh well, sleeping in a tent on my bed is just as good as camping right!

Ty and Darby

We were lucky enough to get to have cute Darby come stay at our house last week. Her and Ty are only 5 months apart and love to be together! Sean has been building a cute playhouse for Ty so we have been spending every night outside working on that, needless to say, these two were huge helpers! It is amazing how dirty these kids can get! I had to wash them off twice in the tub and drain it twice before I could get the water clean enough to do any good! They had so much fun!

Party at Grandma's!

One of my greatest memories of growing up was going to my Grandma and Grandpa Ellis's house to go sliding down their hill. They would always get a huge piece of plastic and put it down the hill, turn on the hose and all the grandkids would slide for hours! We went up there last weekend for a family party they got the slide out for the kids but the adults got in on the action and had a great time!
